Small-Group Subscriptions

The Chicago Manual of Style Online is available to small businesses and user groups of 2 to 50 people by annual subscription. Pricing is per group member and determined by the total number of users. For example, 3 members for 1 year is $138 (3 x $46 = $138). Institutional Subscriptions

CMOS Online is available to academic, private, and public libraries through annual IP-based subscriptions. Institutions will need to register an IP address or an IP range for user authentication.

Chicago's tiered pricing structure takes research output as the key criterion and is based on the Carnegie Classification System whenever possible. To check the classification of an institution, contact cmos@uchicago.edu. Short-term free trial subscriptions are also available for product testing purposes. Subscriptions include access to the full contents of the 18th and 17th editions.
